I will start. Jumped in the car, was going to go shopping. Car wasn't starting. I'm thinking for fuck sake. Not more issues. Got out. Checking around. Sat back inside and realised. Dickhead here hadn't turned the ignition on.

Had a toss at 3 in the morning, not realising I'd shot it all over the lenses of my reading glasses, which were on the desk in front of me.

Going to bed without noticing, I went to put them on earlier, and it was as though they'd had frosted panes put in them, and the stuff had dried to hard I had to use Isopropyl alcohol to get it off!

Tuesday was first day on job we are doing while they are on holiday as everything going through the house (back garden) drive the 18 mile or so to the job the second I pulled up I realised the key was still on the unit back at my house ffs

i did similar, was talking on the phone while just casually looking for my phone, then said 'I'm gonna have to go, I can't find my phone, speak to you soon', hung up, put my phone in my pocket, CONTINUED LOOKING.. my friend called me back straight away, called me an idiot, said she'd tried telling me before I hung up

South of the Watford Gap

Went to take the jacket spud out of the oven but didn't have the oven glove on properly, so dropped it and attempted to catch it with my non-gloved hand, which turned into a simultaneous flip of the spud back into the oven and attempt to put the non-gloved hand into the glove as I realised it would be hot and would therefore burn my hand. Having restored the spud safely to the oven, I let out a sigh of relief and rested my arm on the open oven door... And then I wondered why my spud suddenly smelled of burning flesh.

My arm is a little sore... 🫣

my stupid thing this week was "out cycling"! (cycling itself not so stupid, it's my thing; what was stupid was it being my first ride in a few months, heading out into the Welsh mountains with a 25 year old who's training for a triathlon!)
