We received a message from someone this morning with some face pictures attached to try to entice us into meeting him.

A quick look revealed the pictures were 6 years old, which for us was a red flag - if a guy is using old pictures, he’s either changed considerably or hasn’t quite twigged that his approach for the last 6 years isn’t working (no verifications in 6 years too)

What are your red flags?

I think the main one has to be when someone clearly hasn't bothered to read our bio.

Its not overly complicated, we keep it nice and simple.

Yet most messages are from people wanting something totally different.

Anyone who gets abusive or rude at being told no or who tries to push me to do things I'm not into.

I was once chatting to a man on here, we were planning a social. Then he started trying to tell me what to wear and trying to get an invite straight to my house.

It ended with a block, he couldn't respect me on here, so I dread to think what he would have been like in real life.

Literally just had another red flag fly high!

This has happened a couple of times this week, where a bi guy has said to the effect of "your husband looks great in the photos, and I'd love to have some fun with him".

This goes hand-in-glove (or is that "cock-in-condom") with not reading the profile before messaging, as it states that my husband isn't in any of the photos, and that men in them are guys we've met from the site.

Yes, it often starts with ‘What are you wearing’ and a fixation with what one wears and an attempt to dictate what is worn when meeting.

In my case I get ‘Are you dressed?’ or ‘Will you be dressed!’ even though my profile clearly states that I live as a woman and am not an occasional cross dresser or a transvestite who dresses up for sex.

I normally reply that I haven’t got undressed and changed into a nightie yet (unless I have!) or that I don’t walk around naked even in summer (not a sight I would inflict on anyone without good cause!).

I normally know at this stage that it is not going to be a productive conversation in terms of meeting for sex!
