"As above, what is the back story? If I was suddenly transported to either I wouldn't last long. The deep sea would crush me in an instant so I'd not have much time to consider anything. Space on the other hand would be considerably more painful as all the air pockets in my body would suddenly encounter zero pressure pushing back against their 0.1Mp. Assuming I was able to deflate my lungs without my chest exploding, I still wouldn't last long as all the fluid in my body would begin to boil off even as my brain shut down from oxygen deprivation. Assuming then that I'm in either environment with a viable life support system and return to normal life planned for, neither would Trudy me. I'd simply be fascinated and determined to make the most of an experience very few humans have been privileged enough to enjoy. P" Back story is spending days in the Deep or Space. Which would scare you the most? | |||

Which would scare you the most?" Both fairly equally. They are both environments that are lethal following a vessel failure, and both are very difficult to mount rescue missions to. The deep sea has arguably less risk returning to the surface (it doesn't involve a controlled fall from space) but there is no chance to fix a leak or carry out repairs. 🤷 | |||
