I wouldn't meet anyone with a beard. Initial social meet yes, but on the understanding that if there was another meet, he would be clean shaved.

I have had a beard since I was 16, yes it used to be a goatee, but I have had some kind of facial hair for the best part of 40 years, no way it’s coming off now

Depends what they were asking me to do. If they don't want to shave their beard off, there is a site full of people who they can meet instead. I'm not withholding a life changing offer of a mortgage if they have a beard, I'm saying I don't like the look or feel of a beard on my skin, so I won't be meeting them for sex. It's a sexual preference, everyone is entitled to choose personal attributes.

I always prefer men with at least stubble or a beard, as long as it smells good and is not too wild.

Asking people to change their appearance is not quite the same as a preference but I hope it works for you!

It's a lot easier to change than what other people here class as a preference...

I never asked anyone to change their appearance. The post was whether women liked beards. I replied that I didn't. Stop making it personal.

Hey OP, I'm guessing you're wanting individual replies to the question rather than a generic do women as a whole like beards?

As long as they're not poorly kept/scratchy/too long, I don't mind them. Would even go so far as to say I really like them on some men. There are beard lovers to be found on this site, hopefully a few will pop up on this thread.

Not particularly. I don't mind stubble, or a very well groomed short beard, but I'm not fond of a very long, very full, straggly or unkempt beard.

I have what I’d class as stubble now, but I’m curious to know how long does it need to be to be classed as a beard? 🤷🏻‍♂️

To me, it's facial hair. If it isn't shaved, it is facial hair, that is unpleasant on my skin personally. More women seem to like them, than not.

Bit hard to tell from the pic but i’d say yours looks like a light beard. Stubble to me is when it feels more rough/sandpaper-ish, beard is once it’s got a little bit of softness.

Thanks, I get that. When It’s trimmed it is quite spikey / rough but after a couple of days it feels a bit smoother which is probably when the picture was taken

ex husband 1990 had a moustache, one day a friend asked me when had he shaved it off. I went home and realised there was no moustache, apparently he had shaved it off 6 weeks earlier and I hadnt noticed. He was waiting for me to mention it

Granted, I'm going to fall one side of the fence here!... but beard or no beard, does not a man make.

I'm not going to try and sway the beard-haters; it's your preference and I'll respect it. ...While living happily with this awesomeness adorning my face! 🤣🤣
