We have all been there. You get along with someone on here. Only problem is. They live 100+ or 200+ miles away. Does the distance deter you or are you prepared to travel?

Either because it's a city I want to visit or there's a group social etc. I've had it where we've organised a meet and they've cancelled or something's changed so having something to fall back in really helped.

I have yet to meet one of my closest friends from here due to distance and diaries. We chat on the phone regularly and message daily and have become important parts of each other's lives. We will meet eventually and I have no doubt it will be worth the wait.

Sadly it happens. I was prepared to meet someone before but some idiot went into the back of my car. So it fucked up a lot of plans. Maybe visiting cities are a good way to go.

The distance doesn't no. My main issue is being time poor so how far I'm happy to travel can vary a lot - if I'm feeling more invested/it feels like they are, I'm happier to travel further. And the amount of effort being put in, both sides.

I like little road trips, exploring somewhere new. And if I get to spend time with another, wonderful. What I don't like/feel comfortable with is expectations because of travel.

But no if someone is putting the effort in say like they really want the meet and you do,it has to work both ways it can't always be one sided...I don't accom so if they were willing to accommodate or arrange something I'd travel but would take a build up for that

I can’t speak for others, but I’ve often found myself interested in someone after chatting right here in these forums. It’s not been a deliberate choice, per se. More attraction that’s developed. And by the time we’re both ‘interested’ … well, the distance is just logistics really. And some of us quite like a challenge.

It’s just over 2 hours from kings x so not as far as one tends to think. And yes I stay over night, usually make a weekend of it as Leeds is a great city.
