"Anyone else on one of these infernal machines. I'm having a nightmare trying to keep the seal all night. I seem to manage between 1.5 and 2.5hrs before I give up in disgust and pull it off. The only way I've managed to get over the recommended 4hr minimum is to crank the straps so tight the bridge of my nose gets bruised. Anyone else found a solution | |||

"Try using nasal cushions instead of a fitted mask, unless you breathe a lot through your mouth. Don't over tighten the strap, this can be counter productive and uncomfortable.Sleeping on your back helps too, but took me ages to get used too. Stick with it. You'll see a massive improvement in your sleep and not feeling tired all day. But in all honesty I wish I didn't have to use it. One other point, make sure you wash your mask daily, paying particular attention to the seal. Use a non scented washing up liquid." Does it make a difference ? I sleep better but still feel knackered. Have got to the stage i cant sleep properly without the machine. Mines obstructive sleep apnoea and they said ill need it for life. | |||

I was effectively waking 38 times every hour and blood oxygen levels dropping below 90% at times so will also need it for life as without it I'd be putting myself at risks far worse than tiredness. | |||

Know the feeling. I was in the 40s but now averaging under 5. Very very rarely i would miss using it. | |||
