However this is often the terms that some people impose and it's their prerogative. Personally I would avoid such terms and, similarly, bypass these people and their profiles.

Yes, ratios are wild so you do what you do.. However all be wary of scammers, wanting photos and take you off platform to cause chaos or send you on a wild goose chase

We have had a couple of people who when we have sent our faces haven’t sent back which we do find rude but clearly means we are not for them and rude people are not for us.

We always send faces back to people that send faces to us even if they are not our type as we feel it’s the polite right thing to do but that’s just our opinion everyone is different. For us it’s a you trusted us with your identity so we will repay the favour out of respect.

The only time we don’t send faces is if a single bloke has sent a first message with his face and not bothered to read that we not looking for this, they have not respected our wishes so they don’t get faces back.

People can ask for anything they want.

Some people don't respond in kind. It's a risk. (And most people are just saying no by doing that, and won't be indiscreet, but it is unfair)

You need to work out if that's an acceptable price of admission. If it's not, then don't message people who ask for those things.

It's very common.

If i send the first message, it always includes a face pic.

If they send the first message and ask for a face pic, but dont include theirs.....I wont reply.

People need to follow their own rules.

Yeah this is something I see. I doesn't bother me particularly, but I do prefer to be able to see who wants to talk to me.

But I just have a bit of patience and if we get so far and I don't like the pictures then it's all good, I'm not cornered into sex because I've exchanged some messages or spoken elsewhere.

Yes but you have your face ( a rather handsome one at that ) on your profile so anyone who wants to interact with a view to a meet should really send you one as you have already shown your self.

Not everyone has the same level of openness, and given where I work, I may just be being cavalier. So I don't think my choices should define others.

It'd be more right to say that if they are asking for a face pic then they should provide it. And on this I could understand why some people might get a bit frustrated.

Happened to us a few times, will only send them if we chatted for a little while to start with,our reply is "Your pictures will get ours by reply" That usually ends the conversation 8 out of 10 times !!

To be honest if I don’t like the look of someone or vice versa I don’t see the point in sending it. If I ask someone (which is extremely rare) then I’d send mine first if I’m asking. I don’t like showing my face much on here so nah I wouldn’t send mine back if I wasn’t feeling it 🤷‍♀️

If people receive a message or pictures, it's often going to be the case that you won't be matched. You can probably assume that all communication will then stop, with no reply= no thanks.

If someone suggested a 1 way option, of taking but not sharing, I'd decline by ignoring them.
