Is there a way I can retrieve a message that has been sent and has not been read?

My husband shared my personal details in message with someone weve never met and I dont want them to have this.

You can’t retrieve a message.

You cant retrieve a sent message.

But if im right, if you delete your account your messages dissappear too.

But...if they have email alerts the guy has an email with your details.

This is why we use a 2nd sim in our phones....incase someone turns into a lunatic.

They may have email notifications come up so will still have the message even if you delete your account ✨️

Fab admin have many magical powers but they can only delete what's accessible to them.

And that's only helpful if the recipient hasn't read it or made a note of it somehow.

They could have opened it then marked it unread.

They wouldn't have lots of time to be managing peoples mistakes but I expect they would consider it for data protection reasons.

Blocking them can at least prevent them checking back to your profile, thus reducing them confirming maybe who they thought you were, your location etc. Not sure if that helps at all, just a thought ?

Correct. Also, I just checked my saved messages and there's an 'orphaned' message from someone who's gone UNLOS. I can still read it.

I only ever exchange (limited) personal details via Telegram, never on here.

They said they dont come on fab often and wanted an email address instead (this was the second message they sent), god knows why he chose to give mine as it is my full name (hes full of regret now).

Nothing I can do about it now, ive messaged and asked them not to use the email and told him never to dish out my info without my permission, he can share my body with others but not my name and email 🤣🤣
