Knicker elastic.

Do you think it has got stronger over the years.

I can remember when I was younger, the elastic always seemed to go in my knickers wether it be the waist or the legs....now.....never happens.

Don't think its any different to what it was in the olden days.

Maybe you don't piss yourself as often nowadays so the elastic doesn't rot

mmmmmmmmm sorry have to disagree with you!

Not too bad if the elastic goes when your wearing trousers.........!!

But wearing a skirt, walking around with your knees together trying to find a loo, so they don't fall down before you get there is a bit tricky

and whilst im having a think about undies...underwires.

they either poke you in the arms, or shoot out the middle so when you look down to see whats going on they have your eye out....bloddy awful things.

Swing free, thats what I say.

Modern technology means its not elastic the same but a polymer these days that degrades slower. Ohh and thongs and tenna pads solve other problems.

On the subject of knickers, I bought some and they were crap and gave me front wedgies .......most uncomfortable and now the binmen have got them
