Somewhere In The Ether…

Good folks 👋🏻😃

Are there any actors/actresses that if you see that they’re in a film, you will actively avoid watching it solely because of their presence?

Further to this, if so, what specifically do you find so repellent about said individuals? - Is it their acting style or else their offscreen persona?

Will Ferrell.

Even typing that name is hard due to the innate desire to punch the screen is overriding.

I managed it tho. Yay.

Megan Fox - Terrible actress, also seems like a bit of a nob.

Will Ferrell - NOT FUNNY.

Emma Stone - Cannot stand her voice, her over-acting, and that God-awful advert she's in, screaming... NOPE.

Hell no - no one watches Megan Fox for her acting, Will Ferrell is utterly hilarious and Emma Stone is a legend.

Entitled to your opinion though lol 🫶

Oh absolutely amen to Ryan Reynolds! The nicey-nice image he so meticulously cultivated for years in interviews, on social media etc is now being exposed as anything but the truth.

It turns out he’s an insecure, bratty, entitled and generally nasty piece of shit.

"Benedict cumberbatch"

Yeah - he comes across as incredibly pretentious.

I saw him in a series a while back playing a drug addled sort.

The performance reeked of self importance and self indulgence.

I promptly switched off 👍🏻

Will Smith: I had no trouble with him (although he made a few shitty films) until THAT Oscars incident.

Much like Ryan Reynolds, he had previously cultivated the ‘nicest of nice’ guy image over years, only for the facade to slip - and in Will’s case, rather spectacularly!

Somewhere In The Ether…

Shia Lebouf: He’s a fantastic actor for sure but the myriad of stories of his off screen weirdness and arrogance/rudeness on set under the pretentious guise of ‘Method acting’ which incidentally, is an excuse that many difficult actors opt for (see Jared Leto for instance) and general arseholery, make him difficult for me to watch.

It’s probably easier to list the few I do like ha

One the definite no watch list

Steven segal - perhaps the shittest looking action hero ever

Jim Carey - incredibly fucking annoying would love to punch the cunt

Will Ferrell - can’t understand how any fucker likes him especially in elf fuck me what an annoying film

Michelle Rodriguez - spoils every single film she is in

Honourable mention arnold Schwarzenegger, love his old films and predator is my all time favourite film but last 20 years or so he’s a fucking turd especially his “screw your freedoms” speech.
