Thank you.

Struggling as a man what to do, say and respond on here. I would consider myself pretty average across the board. So out and about meeting people is not a problem .

But the idea of Fab (to me) is everyone knows what they after. So no confusion, upset or wasted time.

Yet I can't seem to get connecting with people. And want i for get is lots of men wanting to chat even though it says clearly not my thing.

Any guidance would be appreciated

Welcome to the forums .

Unfortunately there are many men just like you wondering the same thing .

The reality might be this is site for open minded people , however people still want something more than just the fact we all want to have fun to entice us.

Add a bit more to your profile,look carefully at the messages you send, join in the forums, remember that you actually need to stand out in someone's inbox which is quite often a sea of yellow. Manage your expectations.

Its hard , takes patience, time and effort. Its not instashag so messages may even sit unread and you may not ever find someone local tonight.

However, you never know!

A lot of men block men. They miss out on getting invited to parties, gangbangs, mmf sessions, loads. You don't have to reply but cutting off opportunities is a bit bizarre on here.

Two points:

1. If you don’t want guys (or anyone else) messaging then just set your filters to block them. It’s what I do and it massively cuts down the noise.

2. People often don’t know what they want on here. Or if they do it is not what you want.

People use Fabs for all sorts of things: as a pseudo dating app, socials, voyeurism, thrill seeking. Some even use it for sex.

I don’t know how you are using the site but my advice would be to just be yourself and approach people like you would in real life. Take it from there.

Ok so first thing about what is in your control

You can use your message filters to block other men from messaging - that’s one easy fix

Another thing you can control is your profile. I’m not going to critique it without your say so, all I will say is think about what you bring to the table too. A profile is your advert -if you were a woman here would you contact you based on that? What makes you stand out?

The next part is a simple thing within your control. How you approach people both online and off. If your strengths are offline then get to some of the group socials. There is no pressure as they’re always vanilla and no play… but they’re a great way to make connections face to face.
