Has to be ready salted for me, hate any flavoured crisps. Pom bears are rather nice though, shame they're aimed at kids, they taste great

As a veggie who sometimes craves a savoury taste, I’m very pleased Lidl sells a meaty multi-pack that contains Steak and onion, BBQ, , Smokey bacon and Roast chicken flavours that I can eat too.Because they are all bloom’in lovely….

Although my absolute favourites would have to be Marmite crisp or a good quality plain salted crisp…

May I recommend Yorkshire Crisps Hendersons Relish flavour for the discerning vegetarian?

Hendersons is kind of like worcester sauce but veggie.

I'll keep an eye out for them and give'em a go..... although I have to say the meaty multi-pack I get from Lidl also coantains worcester sauce crisps which I always leave till last or give away if I can ......

I used to love worcester sauce crisps when I was younger but know I find their sharpness turns my face inside out....lol

"Lidl (God bless the Germans!) do crisps made from other vegetables : roasted crisp carrot, parsnip, onion etc. Totally moreish "

most supermarkets do them, however make your own like I do. Use a mandolin or a swivel peeler to shred off thin long strips off parsnips, sweet potato, carrots, beetroot, celeriac...whatever root veg you fancy. Dust in seasoned flour then deep fry for a few mins at 180 until they start to turn in colour - they will keep cooking after so ensure you take out in time and drain on kitchen roll. Store in a foil lined box, open so they dont go soggy, will last 2/3 days if done right. Season with Maldon or a touch of paprika or cayenne mixed with maldon. Oh yea.

think a couple of companies did them in the 80"s and one got taken to court for wording it as if they used hedghogs to get the flavour then they changed the wording to say they were just the flavour of hedghogs and not the real thing ! lol

anyway i think there is a crisp conspiracy

chicken must be one of the most popular flavours so why cant i get packets of 6 chicken at 2 big supermarket chains but i can get 6 prawn cocktail which cant be as popular

guess its so you buy the multipacks with chicken in

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Hah! You mugs!

I take it none of you have heard that there are only three flavours of crisp.

Plain - Salt & Vinegar - Cheese & Onion.

That is all.

All other flavours are imagined by the use of colourful packets and marketing.
