So i've not long been home and there's a spider who's staring at me from the living room...

Am I the only one terrified by them?

I used to be scared but had to deal with them when kids were small so had to be brave. Ok with them if I can see them, tiny ones not so keen

How can you be sure it's staring at you? It could be looking at your spider plant....

Thankfully I've not needed a microscope for anything that's been in my bed

I always treat them with respect till the day when one marched across the carpet and I used the response I always did to cover with a pint glass, get a card, slide under the glass and let go out side..

this particular ones legs were still out side the glass and when it came to let loose it clung to the card and then the tip of my finger..

as my wife at the time hated spiders this some what freaked me a little especially as we'd recently watched 'arachnophobia'

we had an exotic pet shop near where we lived who we told about this experience he preceded to tell us they are aggressive.. and can cause serious issues
