Scary?

It's only Wednesday and I have been told I am scary every day this week.

Apologies for such a blatant me, me, me thread. It's a genuine question. Do I come across as scary?

They may not have meant scary as in monster kind of scary, may be they were just scared to perhaps approach you

They aren't scared of you, they are threatened by you. Take it as a compliment.

You are certainly not scary to me

Some people though are threatened by intelligence and a forthright approach, especially if it is combined with femininity.

They might be able to hold their own in the bedroom but not in the meets that lead up to getting there.

For others tho, what you possess are all positives

One of these was in a work situation and I did wonder if a man would have been given the same advice.

I don't think you're scary. I think I did at first. It's because you rarely use smileys. I could never tell if you were joking or not. Maybe some people take you too literally.

As for the work thing, they were being sexist. (I think)

Join the club Lickety, luv! I have been told TWICE in recent times that I am 'arrogant'. It got to me so much that I deleted my single male profile and it's put me right off meeting for the time being.

You are NOT 'scary'. You are intelligent, funny, and post some of the most thought provoking threads to be found in the forums.

If anyone finds that intimidating, then that's their problem. You stay the way you are - don't change you or what you do to suit other people's shortcomings.
