I thought magazines were literature?

This could go on and on.

I thought the whole thing was meant to be a laugh, but seems some people just won't accept it for what it was meant to be.

I had actually asked Julie if my entry was ok before I put it up.

All this talk of cliques and the arguing has spoiled it for me and I'm sure others may feel the same. I have no idea of some of the politics and shite that has happened previously, but well done to the ones who wanted to spoil it. Your work is done

magazines are literature,, but so is the name of a book. I was just wondering why it was acceptable to quote a line from a book but not actually use the title of a book thats all.

my issue came with the over the top campaign for votes and the begging made it look desperate. i withdrew because i refused to lower myself to that. id rather accept credit for a picture based because people thought it was creative and well thought out than because id begged people to vote.

For me Alimark were the hands down winners.

My opinion of course

I'm not going to argue with you, nor am I particularly fussed as to why you dropped out, as it's your business not mine.

It was meant to be a laugh as were the campaign posts, and that's how I saw and interpreted them. Do you really think people take notice of them to change their votes?

Funny how it wasn't deemed ok to post campaign posts on this thread but not other vote threads. Just my opinion of course.

Over the past few weeks it has got worse, I have now counted all the votes and will announce the results shortly, I wish people would remember it is only for fun and just a laugh instead of trying to ruin it for others

My actual OP with the challenge said:

"Your challenge for this week is literature, so incorporate a piece of literature...a book, magazine or newspaper for example in your avatar."

So yes possibly some disallowed, but I have as said counted all votes, I for one have always enjoyed the challenges.. be it setting them, judging or posting pictures but I definitely won't be taking part in any shape or form as the politics behind them has become an utter joke.

Before Julie posts the results I have pm'd her and said if she feels I should be disqualified that is fine, I took part as a laugh and that's all it is about ..... if anyone has been offended that was not my intention .......... so sorry for all of those of you that feel I have offended, annoyed or pissed off in any shape or form, regular forumites know the saying goes ............... chaos and mayhem and true to form it was there xxx
