Bikinis for mature women…

Evening everyone!

I am going to Brazil next week and I am looking for a new bikini as I am a bit tired of my trusty black BIBA one …

I am looking for something classy, ideally with hardware details in gold and a solid colour rather than print. No side ties on the briefs as I have kind of flat hips and they don’t do much for my figure at all- I also have an apron belly so nothing really low cut. I ain’t no spring chicken, so things that are more elegant and flattering rather than too revealing!

Any recommendations? The high street offerings aren’t doing it for me. Fast delivery a huge plus! I can get myself to London to shop if needed.

Thank youuuuuuu x

Bravissimo have a good range, I’m told. They are fitted by cup size and I think you can mix and match sizes for top and bottom.

OP,

I thought the white bikini you posted pictures of back in December really complimented your figure.

Wouldn’t you be better off waiting until you get to Brazil - I would have thought they would have some dazzling choices there.

My go to is Oseree- you can get them in Harrods and Selfridges if you’re going to London.

Whilst lots are quite skimpy, they do some 1950’s style ones that are very flattering.

Thank you … I CAN’t FIND IT!!! 😭😭 I flit from snowy weather to tropical haha so change my suitcase completely- it mist have been misplaced in one of those times.

And I have checked out swimwear in Brazil. It is nice but I woiuldn’t be able to tuck all my bits into any of them! 😂😂😂

I had forgotten about good old Boohoo and bought a couple. But keep suggestions coming please as you can never have too few swimsuits!

Wherever I buy mine I always go for a bra fit top. I really regret the loss of Debenhams, they sold so many brands 😭
