Some of the dance moves involve clapping your hands then turning around, then moving your hips/shoulders lol! I've heard it play at a few parties when it's about to end!

It was originally released in the 80s on the same album that had word up on it but was rereleased due to it being on a soundtrack of a film called the best man. So you were right in thinking that it was song from a while ago as they never redid the video.
