I pulled my own big toe nail off once.

I had my hair cut off when it was past my bum and raised money had it taken to the bone almost and my hair was used to make a wig for children with cancer

Did strip tease on a stage in a pub i worked in again on a charity night and also on another one got auctioned off for a date...now that was an experience

I once made the local news for pulling an April Fools prank involving my town centre public lavatories and some temporary signage which apparently caused quite a bit of embarrassment …

I was the man on the brake when a rig I worked on set a TD (Total Depth) record for the worlds longest horizontal section of offshore drilling carried out using water based mud… (which is no longer the record now)

When I was an apprentice I helped a renowned sculptor manufacture a piece of his art which has been exhibited all over the world since his death.

1. Had a US cycle policeman in Houston arrange a taxi for me when my paper bags fell apart due to the steamy heat when walking home with my shopping. Was sitting on the sidewalk doing my best to lighten the load which mainly consisted of beer....in itself an arrestable offence.

Was in TA in Germany and we were all sitting around the opening of a Tank going over hills, I slid inside and spent the next week in bed totally black and blue from my neck to my ankles !

Again on annual camp when we had a mock gas attack, weather was scorching. I donned my NBC suit and woke up being 'nurse's by one of our 'casualties' he was a yummy Scots Gaurdsman

Ate Fruit Bat in Seychelles whilst we were being surrounded by its 'family flying over our heads!!!

I was volunteered to pose for a charity event calender, it was along the lines of the calender girls. All I had to protect my modesty was a christmas decoration, I was Mr December though.

I went on HMS Churchill from Liverpool to Scotland, I was about 15 at the time and in the cadets. It was so much fun sleeping in the torpedo room, not nice though doing a stint up the conning tower at 1am .

I took part in a fun ride, it was the Liverpool to Scarborough fun ride. 177 miles and at the time not a lot of fun, I must have enjoyed some of it as I did it again two years later. I did a half decent time of 10 hours 58 minutes.

1. Participated in Come Dancing (The original, not Strictly)

2. The youngest person to ever compete in the British Latin American Sequence Championships in Blackpool Tower Ballroom- a record that can never be beaten as the competition is no longer held

3. Was 'outed' as a swinger within one day of starting a training course and I don't think I said or did anything that gave them that impression

Been out in an F3 type race car car (wasn't driving, it was one of 2 seater ones they take sponsors out in to get them to part with lots of money)

Been on stage at various arenas, including wembley with numerous well known bands with up to 30000 watching

Directed a TV show that got broadcast to up to 100 million people (They didn't tell me until after, I thought it was just for the live audience- kind of glad they didn't too)

1. Took a quad bike an hour into remote area in Scotland to meet a forester, had great sex by a stream then back by quad to find 10 ticks lodged in my thighs!

2. Spent time riding in Tuscany and every evening sat round a large Italian table with 21 folk of all nationalities.

3. Got fed up waiting in a queue to have a shower in the ladies bathroom at Carbusdale Castle - large youth hostel- so strutted to the men's bathroom with no queue and had one there.. Hee hee

Been on the back of Eddie Kidds bike when I was a kid.

I played at a few top grounds when I was a schoolboy. Ewood Park, Blackburn Rovers, Stamford Bridge, Chelsea and Goodison park, Everton.

Unusual?...thinking about it..I've not done a lot that is unusual per se.

Maybe my first swinging club I went to a year or so ago..that was unusual at the time.

Not really done much..there is still time!!

1: Climbed 2/3rds of the way up Everest (that's cheating really),

2: was convinced for 30 mins that I & my gf (with a terrible fear of flying) were about to die in an aircrash - the stewartess sitting close by seemed convinced also.

- & 3: errrrrm traveled to New Zealand overland-ish from India - does that count? ........Oh & caught malaria on route.

1. Represented Great Britain numerous times in a minority sport

2. Competed in Le Mans 24 hour kart race (3 times)

While working on a remote Scottish island got totally rat-arsed and ended up in the island schoolhouse with the rest of my crew dancing wildly to reels being play by an equally rat-arsed islander playing a 3 stringed violin!

All work-related, and to me not that significant, but people's jaws drop when I tell them the following..

1. Saved a member of the Cabinet from losing his job when, unlike his staff, I had the guts to stand up to him and tell him his English was not as good as mine and 'did you really mean to say that....... Sir?' Seriously - would have had to resign if what he had written had been published. Arse saving? Oh yes!

2. Got d*unk with a less senior Minister (who's name shall remain a secret..) who you would NEVER think could 'put it away' like she did...

and...

3. after doing 'something' connected with the plans for her funeral, had tea privately with HM the Queen Mother...
