"What a crap week… seriously. Feeling seriously bored haha, so fancied chatting and meeting people for socials. Got chatting, arranged social meets and I wasn’t stood up once or twice, but three times!! The most embarrassing bit is that I got my FWB involved in vetoing them and he did say they had no verifications… and that he trusted my judgement, but to tread lightly and I still went ahead with it. I feel stupid and embarrassed now. A friend of mine had mentioned this happening to her and I was very smugly saying : “Nah, it has never happened to me” and it was true! Never! Not even on the rare meets arranged on the day…. 30+ years using the internet and meeting people and I still got caught out 😩😩😩🤣🤣🤣 Spending the weekend in Barbados and even though I am steering away from alcohol, I am looking forward to some rum cocktails to feel better… lol.
