Just curious how many times you’d allow sometime to send a copy and paste message before you get fed up and block them?!

Do you have a limit or do you just delete the message and await the next one?

What oversteps the mark and makes you hit that block button?

Any point where the variables obviously haven't been changed.

I usually block on the third, second if it’s particularly bad.

I think a well thought out c and p message is a great idea. If we receive identical messages days, weeks or months after the first one it's not a big deal. We will usually block though because it saves the person wasting their time.

Was going to copy and paste someones answer 😂😂

Im all up for giving people a fair chance, so I'll try get a conversation out of them, but the moment it feels like im speaking to a computer or AI or the convo is just flat, im done, but I'll let them know politely (or try to anyways)

Relatively soon, especially if the message evidently has absolutely no relevance 😉🤦

Room 237 at The Overlook Hotel, Suffolk

If it's obvious from the message that they have not read my profile then it's an instant block, I used to just delete what looked like a copy and paste message to see if I would get the same message again before blocking but not any more.

I've had a few copy paste messages that are meant either for men or couples because they offer to suck my cock bit odd as I'm a female

I used to get a copy and paste message every six months from a woman who organised and attended a lot of socials.

She would say she had never seen my profile before and asked where I had been hiding?

I would reply to say I had been hiding in plain sight and that was the end of the conversation until 6 months later when she would send the same message and I would give the same reply.

The messages seemed to correspond to an event she was hosting so I often wondered if it was her way of drumming up support.

She deviated from the usual approach just once and said she was looking forward to meeting me at an event being run by someone else but when I introduced myself on the night she completely blanked me and didn't even acknowledge I was standing there in front of her.

At that point I blocked her because it was obvious she was either playing games or her name was Dory.

It does get a bit tedious when you have had the same message off the same person 20 times.

I’ve gone 5 years so far with the same message every Friday. Highlight of my week 😘

Thank you all for the replies…

We’ve had 3 messages from the same person in 3 days.

Quite a long message and word for word identical.

Zero effort is never gonna get a reply from us personally, I just wonder what makes them do it?!

I find that maintaining an Excel spreadsheet, adopting a common template and using the integrated Fab notes function mitigates any chances of me sending the same message.

Do not underestimate the value of due diligence and governance.

Thank the heavens for Cut N' Paste.
