I get that people don’t always get the attention they are looking for on here.

But seriously guys don’t message everyone who looks at your profile with a “Did you like what you saw?” Or a “Thanks for looking”. Especially without any other interaction (fab, message or wink).

There are a multitude of reasons why someone may have looked. For us because we are joining in a photo rating on a forum, or maybe looking at verifications and happen to click on your profile being nosey.

Messaging back looks a little desperate.

I don’t think that is always true. I look at a profile I like but now might not be the time to reach out. I might be too busy to engage properly or it might be better to just reach out later when I am planning to be nearer to them. There are a multitude of reasons.

I do openly view , and even if I’m viewed not in ninja mode I wouldn’t message someone just because they looked . If we’ve looked at each other and fabbed pics on occasions I’d message to break the ice if I felt there was interest.

The thing with ninja mode is though I don't believe it's foolproof.

I have looked at random profiles that I've never seen before and even though I'm in permanent ninja mode, quite a few of those have looked back at me within a short space of time which is too much of a coincidence.

I could understand if I had posted on the forums and they were checking me out because of that but this is often when I haven't commented on the forums at all.

Account ➡️ Privacy Settings ➡️ Hide on looked at me: You can hide yourself from showing on "who has looked at me" pages.
