London

Both Sky & BBC are giving more attention to Mandela than Philo! who are both in hospital.

Now Nelson has had a tuff life and did good things on his freedom but is in my opinion in the same league as Gerry Adams.

So why are they doing this?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

He's become an iconic figure. I think many fear South Africa will be destabilised for a while when Mandela dies.

He's 94. They should let him die in peace now.

The news will focus more on Philip if he starts getting lots of visits from family members. That will be a bad sign as they have made it clear he doesn't want or like any fuss.

"Dunno, both of them have periodically been in and out of hospital over past few yrs."

Phil has had four admissions and Mandela 5. Both have birthdays coming up and there's only a couple of years between them. But Phil has been up and about working and Mandela hasn't.

Yes, I believe he has. Attending boring events, standing around for hours and hours is pretty much on a par with being at the standing tills at the supermarket if you ask me. It's hard, monotonous work.

Plenty of people don't feel Mandela to be a terrorist.

Truth is Mandela is most likely going to be dead very soon. Where as Prince Philip is undergoing elective investigatory surgery which as it is elective is unlikely to be life threatening unless he has problems recovering post operatively.

Mandela has proved to be an inspiration to millions throughout the world. What Mandela did in his youth was both necessary and justified. To this day South Africa is rebuilding the horror of apartheid.

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter, and alot of great nations owe their existence to extreme acts of violence.

Long live Nelson Mandela, the peoples President!

Mandela was a Terrorist, but as we in the UK know the BBC loves pandering to terrorists and giving them a voice on there network. Mandela and ADams both terrorists.

It seems like a crap job to me and totally thankless. He should have his feet up and be reading the paper. They do a good job.

Hope they both get well soon.
