That last topic about ' last text message' has made me ponder ...

Do I expect too much from the men who message me on my phone with regards to conversation ???

Are men more ' blunt' for the want of a better word and say it how it is with no frills ??/

Its an individual thing ... some men are so blunt I think they aren't interested but when you meet them

Message should give some clues to the other members standard of conversation

Although I admit I am more articulate when writing

How many "frills" depends on context...

little house on the praire

I'm too old fashioned to be a texter people are very unlikely to get more than a one sentence reply from me. I prefer a normal conversation on the telephone. In fact most of my texts just ask if I'm free for a chat

I think its too much to expect anything from men. They say they will do something and they dont. I thought I was getting a text today basically a noshow. Knew I shouldnt have given my no out

you get upset by not getting a text? There's still half the day to go yet.

Need to know basis

One guy could only write a couple of words...I met him and he was very eloquent...we have regular picnics!

One could write and speak! He had all my attention!

It is not always how much is said/written...very often the content has far more interest and holds more intrigue! One man is very good at that.

Words are really important to me. Sometimes I get emails from J and its like he's swallowed a dictionary! Its one of the things about him that I love!

I never got upset, more a bit annoyed because when we chatted he sounded like a genuine guy and he was asking to meet me today. More than half the day gone now nothing on phone
