Circumcision as adult, advice?

Jump to newest

Anyone gotten circumcised as an adult? My frenulum tore many moons ago, and as such my foreskin can sometimes tear again there and can be tricky to heal without avoiding using it. Additionally a few tears have lead to some scar tissue that bothers me, it's probably insignificant to others tbh. But, as I can go private, I'm considering it

Have those who've done it later in life had any regrets, or is it all positive? Do you now have reduced sensitivity in the penis?

Thanks

Had it done at 37..foreskin was too tight and prone to tear.

Would really recommend..no problems really and as for sensation ..probably more sensation during intercourse for me. Skin below glans has become more sensitive. Maturation maybe slight reduction but negligible.

Straightforward procedure these days even for us adults.

Hope this helps.

No issues. A little tender for a few days.

I used a medical numbing gel.

Sex feels a lot better after being done

So probably not the best to give advice as I had an issue. Had my foreskin removed 3 years ago as it was too tight and causing issues.

Op went well. I followed all the advice and kept everything fastidiously clean but, managed to get an infection. My cock swelled up so much that, when I presented to A&E over the weekend, the doctor physically recoiled from the site of it!!

A strong course of antibiotics and I was fine with a few weeks. I am glad I had it done now!

where I lay my head

I had mine done on medical grounds when I was 34. Boy did it hurt for a while. I had been peeing through the eye of a needle for 34 years. He said it was bad when I went back to see the surgeon. All fine now and glad I had it done.

couple, us we him her.

I had mine done in my 20,s the old foreskin kept splitting.

I'll be honest it was painful.

This was early 90's btw .

But the stitches felt like a bouquet of barbed wire roundy helmet.

It was so sensitive after and the slightest thing made me semi which normally great but every time I got hard it would stretch the stitches and open up the wound.

I was in my 40s surgery went well but instead of dissolving stitches they put the wrong ones in so after weeks it was infected and swollen , the skin had started to heal around the knots and they had to just pull them out ripping the lot , ohhh all is well now and feels better when wanking

There's better options now, go for a v-cut if your want to remain mostly intact.

Know a few guys that were circumsized later on life. Don't envy them, plus you have a couple of weeks of pain afterwards.
