Did some design work for the original Dune movie back in the 80’s I think it was, unfortunately the films design went in a different direction so nothing of his got to the screen.

I have some original Dune artwork as well, that Giver did for Jodorosky’s Dune.

His most famous design in film will always be the xenomrph creatures Alien...however it wasn't actually specifically created for Alien

The creature is actually a design he already done in a collection called Necronomicom.

Ridley Scott saw book of that collectiom and design in it and said that's it. That is the alien he wanted

And other than a slight change to the head its the design that was used.

He also designed/created a crazy Batmobile concept for Batman Forver (one with Val Kilmer as Batman) but was rejected as being too weird and sexual haha
