Somewhere in Norfolk ask :)

We have just been called a prude and a time waster because the bloke kept talking about cumming in my Cunt. I personally can’t stand that word in that context and all I did was politely say please can you not use the word to refer to my lady parts, we are not prudes you can see from our verifications.. this was a couple too so not even the usual single men. What’s wrong with people ? They said horrible things after I politely asked and then blocked us, I know we have dodged a bullet but am I prudish for not liking my pussy talked about like that ?

No your not a prude,

It’s a weird word,

In Glasgow it can be a term of endearment like He is a good cunt

Or

He is a nasty cunt

Using it instead of vagina is a nasty horrible word that personally have never used or liked

So no stuck to your guns on that one,

Think you dodged a bullet there

Thank you I don’t mind the word used as you described above but just feel it degrading when it’s used in the context the person did, I was so polite about it as well and didn’t kick off so don’t understand why the horrible reaction!

It’s perfectly reasonable to ask someone to stop using a word or phrase that makes you uncomfortable xx 😘

Not prudes or time wasters at all. You are here for your own enjoyment and if that doesn't align with others expectations they need to be polite and move on till they find a like minded person who shares their interests. I've had similar from guys who just don't read profiles and respect them.

Keep sharing your photos and most importantly enjoy yourselves.

Respect is a two way street. I don't think it's too much to ask to be mindful of language used, to make people comfortable (particularly people you want to be intimate with).

As for words like "prude" or "time waster", in contexts like this specific one, all that means is "you're not giving me exactly what I want. I'm having a tantrum about it"

We are all prudes when we ask for something to be worded better, or even dare say no thank you.

I think it’s a pretty huge portion of guys that just talk like they are mid wank all the time, probably as they are. Not really anything to do other than ignore anyone that gives the smallest red flags let alone directly dismissing an issue you have with them.

Does seem to be a minority that can message and communicate properly. I don’t think I’ve ever been on a site where had as many people be a bit weird. Think the nature of it is just mostly people having a wank and treating others like interactive porn.

And at end of day if someone can’t do the basics in messages they are guna be shite in bed anyway. So easy to ignore em.

It's interesting the many connotations of the word C*nt. In Jean Paul Sartre " The devil and the good lord", Goethe uses it to express his desire and pleasure for a red light lady. While in gay parlance I have heard it used to describe a bottom in thrall to the sexual desires of a well hung gay top. But no one should have to put up with it being rudely used if not asked for or enjoyed being called such. Mx 👿

This definitely does not make you a pride, it does make them disrespectful at the very least and probably would make for an awful meet had you got that far, although I would imagine it wouldn't ever progress to that point.

Some of us have different sensibilities and icks. That doesn't make us prudes. Neither does not being easy. You only really find out who is a prude or not when you get them into the bedroom.

Unfortunately the site is full of toxic people. The best thing is to identify them fast, not waste time on them and block them. Simple as that.

Someone has been watching too much porn.

You don't have to be vulgar. Cheekiness is better than vulgarity 🤓🥷

I’ve experienced similar clap back as you OP when I’ve had to (politely) ask people not to use objectifying terms towards me… anyone wanna take a guess of such terms I’m referring to? 🙊

Listening to Ian mcshane reading henry Miller tropic of cancer may change your mind about the word..

. But I might be biased

It's easier to call you a prude than identify where he has gone wrong. I'm very glad for your sake you won't be

I don’t see it as a vulgar word for the most part, I’ve heard it frequently from the other half as stated above by someone, it’s generally used as a term of endearment.

Personally I don’t think it’s wrong to use it and I have done myself in certain circumstances as I know there won’t be any no objection in the right context, crucially it’ll be with someone I know well, not a stranger.

HOWEVER, if an objection has been voiced then yes absolutely it’s wrong to take the path they chose afterwards.

Sorry if this echos what already been said.

You are not a prude at all and have definitely dodged a bullet, sadly a lot of men think with their dick and it comes across in the language they use, arguably there's a place for dirty talk but only if you are familiar with each other and it doesn't cross any set boundaries.

Not at all op

Thing is, many people just reduce others to their genitals here.

There's nothing wrong with telling someone if they're saying something you don't like/enjoy.. That reaction seems over the top to me and kind of shows they wouldn't have stuck to the agreed boundaries.

I think you dodged a bullet.

I think it's really valuable when people out themselves very clearly as not right for you. It can be scary just how different other people can be from ourselves, especially when we hold some values very dearly and strictly.

I'd hate to be in a very intimate position with what some people show themselves as

For me the lack of respect and politeness on here is worrying.

This is simply a matter of respect for your wishes, agree or disagree, it’s not important but respect the wishes of the people you are interacting with.

🤦‍♂️

Makes me a little sad tbh
