Does anyone have a YouTube channel that they monetise? For a hobby perhaps?

If so I’d love to find out your experience of building a following etc

Pays de la Loire -Normandie -Brittany borderFrance

I know a few youtubers and did a bit myself.

one guy here used to make enough to buy a new car every month and one done it for years and earned sod all

The editing is the worst for me

Hope this helps ,takes ages and you have to be committed for a long time before you earn anything .

Good luck with your venture .A catchy name and thumbnail sells your channel .like fishing you have to reel them in and hook them

Yeah, I’ve been on YouTube for 12 years I’ve got 1.6 million views over the time I’ve been on and I make about 30 quid a month

TikTok gives the impression of a younger audience. Would you agree with that?

TikTok is more for mentally ill people YouTube has a lot more class about it and it’s a lot harder to get traction

TikTok is like a Chinese experiment where they will spy on us and laugh. The creators on there that get good traction or mentally disturbed.

Wouldn’t know what sort of advice to give you but my daughter’s fiancee has one, gives tips and short cuts on a very popular war game, he has just short of 300,000 subscribers. He does very well out of it and they have just bought their first house and renovated it on the back of it.

Yeah I’ve heard of these types of financial successes. Someone I know has 88,000 followers in the same niche that I’m looking at and he said he’s approaching the point where he could give up his day job if he wanted to.

I’m not really looking for it to be a cash machine, more a way to push followers to a website so I’ll be using fb, X and insta too. But if there’s money to be made from ads at the same time then why not.
