Installed IE 10 yesterday, if I leave the computer on now and not use it for 2-3 hours Windows 7 does not respond anymore, it won't even shut down.”

“After the installation, I can't change the proxy settings anymore. More precisely, I *can* change them and conform the changes. Except the changes I made don't apply.”

“IE 10 is a hot mess on Windows 7. On some websites... can't get buttons to work and the cursor disappears.”

just a few comments ive found on google after i did a search. yahoo sent mail saying bout IE 10 but i always check before i install anything new to see if others have had any problems

IE is a liability. Everyone we know will kill it as soon as their OS has installed, and use FF or something else instead.

It's the most exploited browser out there, mainly because every non-techy 'normal' person that buys a pc uses it, as it comes bundled in with their OS.

I admit even I, who stuck to the installed stuff for years (through fear mostly) has now gone onto google chrome.

I endured years of my friends at me but ie was just so I abandoned ship and am now cruising

(Yes I'm one of those too scared to even install whatsapp on my phone because it says stuff like, will access memory, call data etc ... I don't even need whatsapp!)

I have had ie10 installed for quite a while not, it's never caused a problem. however I do not use it for day to day browsing I use Chrome, but as a web developer it has to work in IE as it's still the most used browser by far. If there are any issues with any website just click the compatibility icon and all will usually work again.

Just use Firefox or chrome, IE is useless.
