we got our renewal recently which was for £746 for fully comprehensive with 11 years no claims, we shopped around all the comparison sites and got the price of £234 from a different company with all the same benefits the previous company were offering us, its worth an hour of your time shopping around to get the best deal, we were paying £72 per month last year compared to £23 per month this year, so those sites really do work, P.S. we didnt get a free mearcat, lol

I hate insurances. Licensed bandits. Have felt for years that the services have been downgraded, with basic fully comp. being the same level of service that third party policies once offered.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've recently re-insured.

The renewal quote was lower than the premium last year but the same policy, from the same company, was even lower on the comparison site. The lowest quote of all was from a company with another name but turned out to be the same company. When I spoke to them about just renewing at that lowest rate their system wouldn't allow that. I had to go through filling in all of the boxes and then getting them to send themselves my proof of no claims.

Bonkers.

I was £750 fully comp for my wee boy racer mobile due to a car theft last year and a cheeky 3 license points... I was quoted £2000+ with some places

I'm getting a meerkat

The best thing about the comparison sites is that they keep the details that you've entered and then they send you renewal prices well before your existing insurer does. I love a good haggle with the buggers
