It's looking like I'll be going up to Aberdeen next week for a couple of weeks work.

As I've never been before, I was just wondering if anyone could suggest any good bars or restaurants in the city centre.

Someone to show me round or maybe a little fun would be even better...

Depends on what kind of restaurants and bars you are after..

If you like Italian Id recommend going to apperitivo on bon accord street. Really good food and great service.

If you are looking for the more upscale bar, Soul bar is probably the best bet. Really nice inside and have half decent wine.

If you like cocktails go to Mims on which is on crown street. Really good made to order cocktails.

If you are looking more for banter probably best to go to Vodka bar/siberia on belmont street. It's also right next to a couple of clubs.

Really depends on what you are after. There is something for everyone just need to look for it lol.

Thanks for the reply.

Italian is always good in my book, so that will definitely be on the list, as will the Mims.

At least I've a couple of starting places, I'm sure I can find some more from there.

Hiya, I just got back from aberdeen yesterday. You could also head down to union square next to the train station. Lots of places to eat and cinema there.

Also as already said, siberia vodka bar on belmont st, and if you like a bit of alternative try slains castle across the road from the vodka bar.

Staying by the station I think, so Union Square should be nice and handy.
