Hi everyone,.

I'd just like to know the proper definition of the term "vanilla", only I see the phrase used here n there & thought I knew, but it's popped up a few times in different context which has thrown my thoughts into doubt..

Anyone like to enlighten me.?

I see vanilla in two ways, as I guess I indulge in two lifestyles. When it comes to swinging, my vanilla friends or people who have vanilla sex are people who have sex with their partner. In BDSM vanilla is having sex without kink.

I CAN have vanilla sex in BDSM terms (although it leaves me wanting more) but I couldn't do vanilla in swinging terms.

As I understand it, it's just one on one sex without any extra kinks added for flavour.

If you think of straight one on one sex as vanilla

Anything else (bj doggy,anal, 3some orgy, bdsm) or anything kinky as a little spicy or more than just vanilla. A little more flavour in other words

Er hope that makes sense
