Great if you're off work and on the beach!

Great if you're sat outside drinking coffee, sipping wine or slurping on a nice cold beer!

Great for people watching - lets face it - there's a lot more flesh on show when the big orange thing in the sky puts in an appearance!!

NOT great when your cruising up and down motorways for hours on end wearing a short sleeved shirt due to the heat and developing what can only be described as an uneven 'sales rep tan' on one frigging arm!!

Was pointed out to me yesterday and there's sod all I can do about it - short of covering up and getting hot - or buying a left hand drive car to use in alternate journeys!

Is there a law against driving at high speed in reverse on motorways?

That describes my dad to a tee. A driver all his life and his legs were like sticks of celery but his right arm face and neck were weathered.

That sun will be aging you disproportionately on that side too. It won't matter what the picture in the attic is doing.

What you need is to have a removable full length sleeve on one side, one driving glove, tinted windows and only use the AC.

Only if you are in the middle lane lol
