Nostalgia time, I've been babysitting our 3 year old grandaughter today and went on Youtube to find some Nursery Rhymes for her to watch and came accross some old TV theme tuness that I liked when I was a kid, White Horses, Fireball XL5 & the Flashing Blade were on there and it was nice to see her enjoy them aswell, What Tunes do you still remember from your youth that you remember and makes you smile

Yes, it starred a young Billy Crystal didn't it? Plus if my memory is correct, Richard Mulligan too.

A tale about two dysfunctional families, The Tates and The Campbells.

"Does anyone remember the American tv comedy show put on late at night about 10 pm called SOAP in the late 70's

Yes, it starred a young Billy Crystal didn't it? Plus if my memory is correct, Richard Mulligan too.

A tale about two dysfunctional families, The Tates and The Campbells.

***********************************

Does anyone else remember one of the best TV Themes, that from "The Persuaders" with Roger Moore and Tony Curtis. The theme was written by John Barry.yes got the whole series on dvd of the persuaders

was Bill Cosby also in Soap, playing the Posh Butler?

and was the Persuaders theme Avenues & Alleyways or was that the Pretenders? I always get them mixed up, but loved both seriesThe butler in Soap was benson which later on had his own show but it wasn't bill cosby

it was Robert Guillaume who played benson in soap"

and went on to star in his own spin off Benson, with Rene Auberjonois as his emplyer who played the original Father Mulcahey in the film of MASH with Donald Sutherland
