Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The real life David Brent in a Swansea Call Centre.

I saw the interview with him this morning and he's a little worrying.

Anyone watching?

He's sacked people for not singing.

New recruits being made to sing Mr Brightside - it's not really a happy song is it?

Ah crud I forgot it was on!!!

I don't think I could Work in a call centre like that to be honest. I'm all for morale building but there are too many distractions for my liking.

He's just taken a female worker around the office and made single men hug her. Everyone looked a little uneasy.

Yeah I saw that,,,, I found him cringe-worthy to be honest,,,and I didn't believe him saying he's never seen David Brent on The Office...

They're speed dating in the office now!

He's thrown things at new recruits!

That said, he's got acolytes singing his praises.

I can't believe this isn't a similar set-up to the other mostly scripted/set-up reality shit.

The edit is really doing a good job of setting up the characters we will follow. I probably won't tune in next week.

The Town by The Cross

I've just turned it off.

Makes me sad that people have to be ridiculed in that way just to keep a job

If you owned that business, would you want your prospective and current clients seeing it?

Absolutely no one seems to challenge him. I wonder what dark secrets he is holding?

Definitely not but some believe any publicity is good publicity.

Just turned it on and the boss told this guy he's a bit of a player on to stop seeing this girl. I would've told him to get fucked. Sticking his nose into business that's not his own

You missed the bit where he organised a 3 hour speed dating event and got them together! The interfering was then to get someone else to take her out.

Yes, but he's decided that's the wrong approach now. They're going to make cake instead.
