Went from one of the top project engineers to one of the worst and needing additional management because I was passed two projects started by others that left that had major design and financial issues that I couldn't resolve in time or budget

A heartbreaking situation with a friend and a partner facing a serious health situation put a lot in perspective for me.

I turned 50 which has felt like quite the milestone. And I used the year to create some incredible memories.

I’ve changed for the better this year.

Simliar here leukemia that cant be cured only controlled also a few other conditions now the long wait for surgery

I'm very glad 2025 is closing.

It was a tough year for sure.

Apparently it's the year of the Snake, lots of shedding what's not for you.

I definitely had a rough year in lots and lots of ways. Lots of shedding and endings.

But endings bring beginnings.

I'm ready for new pastures and better days.

I'm hopeful for 2026 💫

Love this kind of thread. 🩷

What's changed? I've started saying yes to things a lot more. Travelled in a way I didn't think I ever would. I've rediscovered my love for academia and started studying again. Learning. My curiosity about the world has come back.

I also learnt a lot about myself. What works, how letting go can be a greater kindness. And the gym isn't an awful place. :D

I'm looking forward to the changes of 2026. ❤️
