“Yesteryear “ contact mags

Hi all,was reminiscing the other day about “ back in the day” contact mags. Personally this was how I started my voyage into the exciting world of swinging. “Rendezvous” was my go to mag, I’m currently 61,and although obviously times change and technology advances still remember the excitement of receiving a written reply ( in the shape of a hand written letter) and occasionally with some horny Polaroid pics. Shall never forget as a young lad of about 20 standing on the Photo Booth stall in my local Coop to get some saucey pics of my own done. Miss them days as people seemed to be clearer with what they were actually looking for…………….peoples thoughts please?

Yes...I remember them...

Actually met a woman on there and stayed with her for five years...a lovely blonde and a few years older than me .very lucky .

You forget to mention you had to pay to send replies and enclose an sae ..and no doubt some were fakes and time wasters so money was lost.

Having said that , it was great to get a hand written reply

Drove from London to Birmingham for a lovely weekend with a couple too.

I couldn't afford contact mags. I think they were £5 in the day, possibly £10 which was way outside my perving budget. Made do, with the lonely hearts in (yellow) Bargain Pages.
