I know, I know, I know…a week after Christmas, what are we doing with this?

But settle an argument between the two of us.

Does Brenda Lee *really* sing about *pumpkin* pie, or some other non-radio-friendly type of pie.

Mr is adamant that she sticks to the official lyrics sheet in the classic recording.

Mrs only hears ‘Later we’ll have some fuckin’ pie’ and applauds Ms Lee’s stick-it-to-the-man-in-the-50s lyrics but is surprised the song was ever played on radio/at school discos.
