Perigans and Kestrals.

If anyone is interested in seeing some young perigans and Kestrals there are some nesting at Aston University and Derby Cathedral.

I can't put the links up but if you go to the university website and search for kestrel cam you can get to it from there.

The Derby council website will bring up the cams if you search for "cathedral"

I have just watched the perigans being fed by their mother.

Ruggers, there are usually peregines nesting on Sussex House in Brighton with a webcam set up .......... not sure what you would look up though

Because cathedrals have lots of nooks & crannies maybe??

Or as in the case of Derby it's the highest building within a square mile??

BTW is the Derby Co-op Cow still lit up at nights?!!

Is a massive neon red outline of a cow at the back of the Co-op in the Morledge advertising errm milk

Bit of a much-loved landmark but was talk of her being exterminated hence my Q

My parents live out in sticks..a perrigrine (think thats correct spelling) sometimes sits in their garden...it caught a rabbit once in their driveway.

They get TONS of buzzards too.

Fuck me, every post that mentioned the word up to yours was wrong, I thought it was some sort of clique in-joke.

Peregines aren't as rare as they once were and are nesting in lots of places now

As a falconer though, I feel I ought to contest the Peregrine catching a rabbit comment, a Goshawk, yes, peregrine, no chance!
