People seem to really really like him, or really really dislike him. I'm watching A Few Good Men which was made in 1992, hes worn very well.

Do you like him or loathe him?

But as an actor?

I avoided his films in the past, however, he seems to have aged well and not as obnoxious and cocky as he used to be.

The film that made me take notice of him as an actor was the Last Samurai.

Oblivion was rather good, and hes aged really really well, but I do remember him in Risky Business.

I find his acting is often predictable and a bit wooden

His acting or the roles he chooses?

More his acting- early stuff was over acted, mid career was blighted by films like far and away and his appalling irish accent- thought collateral was OK though.

He's a bit of an 'out of the box' actor, switch him on and let him do his thing, he's good enough to carry an average film but you're unlikely to be blown away by his performance- he rarely has much depth.

he went a bit out of fashion, after jumping up and down,on i think letterman's couch, proclaiming his love for katie holmes.

i like him,as mentioned above,he excelled in,the last samurai.

Not keen really and that was before I found out he was in some crazy science monkey cult.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

He's got big teeth!

I think he's good at what he does. Top Gun is my favourite but he's great in a Few Good Men and Last Samurai. He's very good at playing a tortured guy with a hidden/crappy past. I've not seen Collateral but heard he's good in that too.

was never really a fan till, till I seen Collateral, there's a part in the film when some music kicks in and he's just looking at Jamie Fox with these dead eyes like he's nothing/already dead, brilliant acting
