I shoot longbow / recurve bows in the NFAS. Have 52 acres of woodland in Cheshire where I shoot. I don't kill anything though, it is all target sport

Really good fun and would compare to golf in the way you score and compete.

"I own and help restore old military vehicles , I have a 1956 Bedford RL GS."

I always liked the shape of the curved front end on the RL. I used to have a 1971 Bedford MK with a crane and a dismountable box that I'd converted to a motorhome. Before that, I had a Bedford Viceroy, also as a motorhome.

I like white water kayaking, motorcycling, industrial and landscape archeology, building tree houses, festivals, wood working, creating erotic technology, writing erotic fiction (TBH, as a single male, fiction is about all it is these days) and a few other things.

Oh ... and saving the world here and there.

The skin gets tougher the longer ypu play, try getting some smaller gauge strings (thinner) and whack them on an electric, acoustics are unforgiving on the fingers!
