Skin tone and the shade of colour has a massive impact, I think. I have several sets of blue underwear but one definitely is better against my skin tone than the other. My maroon sets probably get the most reactions followed by the blue.

I would say, 50% of my collection is black, 30% red, 5% white and 15% every other colour.

It's not so much of a preference, simply it easier to buy red and black as they tend to be the readily available colours.

I have some pink stuff I really like (needs a tan though) and also colours I wouldn't buy as I don't think they suit me.
