Still no snowfall of any significance in my area...

I know but despite the turmoil it seems to cause here in the UK..

I get a natural buzz out of waking up to a blanket of snow covering the region... preferably on the weekend obviously

It's getting colder though. Lots of gritters out these nights.

I love a white Christmas. Once I don't have to be going places 😂

I think it must be a childhood memory... its nice when it does ... as long as I don't have stuff to be doing or places to go

Head to the north Scottish Highlands. I worked and lived there for 2 years. Survive there, you survive anywhere 😁😂

I'm not a huge fan of the snow, we had it last week. It's a nightmare everything comes to a standstill.

Yes my drives to and from work in summer are great stunning view of the lakes and I often catch the sunset across the bay.

^ This. It might look nice for a short period, but when it’s hanging around for days afterwards as slush & ice, it’s a pain in the arse tbh

I like it when nothing else to do, admire it from my warm living room and see it disappear as quickly as it came, causing no inconvenience

I love it when it snows. 4 wheel drive so it can come anytime. Love how the Mourne mountains look, very innocent with a snow covering but be warned, deadly to the idiot

We had snow on Christmas day in New Orleans one year. It's welcome there as a rarity but not here, thanks. We're just so bad at dealing with it

I long for the day I'm snowed in for a couple of weeks (with a fully sticked fridge and cellar). Properly snowed in, as in, no-one can drop by or suggest meeting up. Phone networks being down would also be a bonus.

(The fortnight would be better Jowita from Strictly is stuck in the house with me, but her attendance is not a deal-breaker).
