'sorry but ive got to say'

You don't have to say.

Not right now.

You could wait a sentance or two and come across less desperate.

Respect a conversation as a potential connection, with a human you intend to respect.

And quite frankly apologising before trying to compliment someone isn't a compliment.

If you have to apologise for a compliment there's probably a reason you feel awkward giving it.

Just saying 😂

"It is what it is"

💯

I fucking hate this saying as 95% of the time it’s misused and an excuse for the person being lazy…

I wanna know when it became a thing?

It’s so rare to find it valid in saying, and there are better older sayings.

I don’t think I ever use it and pull people up on it!!

Because when they say it, I can break it down into exactly why it isn’t “it is what it is “

Often people who are incredibly sensitive if you say things about them, using the fig leaf of the arsehole.

Reminds me of my mother in law:

"I speak as I find."

So, she can say what she likes without any consideration of how it might be hurtful, inappropriate etc. FFS!

Just had a message that said something like ‘would love to chat to see if XYZ’ and I get this all the time. In this instance (because they were hot and I’m horny) I asked ‘chat about what?’ to see if they redeemed themselves. Answer? ‘Anything you want’ 🙄

Don’t put all the weight of conversation onto me. It’s lazy and not at all sexy.
