Banging Tunes... x

Just been supermarket with hubby. As usual I wander up an aisle while he carries on before heading up an aisle he likes.

So then the shitty music the store is playing is replaced by Temptation by Heaven 17. What a tune, I then, involuntary I must add, start to move to this fantastic tune, I'm sure whoever put it on turned it up to.

So now I get to the end of the aisle and turn around, still bopping and singing along, when all of a sudden my hubby appears about 5 aisles ahead and he's facing me and he's got his groove on to. He spots me and we both point at each other giving ourselves a knowing nod.

Just as the song reaches its best know lyrics... "Lead us not into temp-ta-tion..." we start dancing towards each other. All that was missing was a torrent of foam to come cascading down over us haha.

So what banging tune gets you lost in the moment, getting you moving involuntary?

Thanks Heaven 17, we couldn't resist your 'Temptation'

Perseverance by Terrorvision, but nobody else knows this tune or the band. You probably know them better for Tequila from the 90s. Then again, many here weren't even born then.

Ah, I feel old again now.

Love it when you hear something that just takes you over and you just cannot do anything than just move to it.

When do you think music was the best, what era or is it better now? I'm an 80's girlie but there are so cracking songs nowadays as well, Mrs x

What a tune. Been hearing it a lot on the radio recently too. I love the looks of appreciation you get when you clock eyes with strangers and just acknowledge respect for a banger.

Keep raving and misbehaving!

Hubby loves Foo Fighters, seeing them at Anfield next year, his fave is Pretender, him and our grandson always 'rock out' to this whenever they hear it,
