Well its Saturday am and yes the call has just landed - Mircosoft calling and you have a virus on the pc!

Just a word of warning they are doing the rounds don't forget to warn your elderly family

How did you do that? I'm at a bit of a loose end and got time to kill. So what should I ask and does it make a difference with it being a Mac?

There is a phone number/website you can report any frauds/scams to.

Have a look for actionfraud, they may be able to help.

did hang up on him several times but yet fones back gave abuse wanted to recorded it so i could pass it on to them but they wont do a thing about it

I have windows 7 running on a virtual machine i can answer all his questions but he has no access to my machine ( no shared networking)

Yes my mac can run win 7 in a window!!
