I may watch some, not that I'm a fan but it looks like it'll pass less than a mile from my house.

And opportunities to openly ogle fit men in lycra should always be seized.

No Wiggins sadly, I'll be cheering Froome for the yellow and Cav for the green jerseys though. I'll definitely make it to the UK stages next year.

Saving up to get myself a Pinarello Dogma K!

I've been watching it since it was a highlights show on C4 and I used to cycle with a guy who competed against Chris Boardman and Graham Obree.

I shall be fitting in as much viewing as possible

Hmmm... little bit far to go then

Went and watched it from the sidelines when it was in 'Lundin', and the next day it came within 300yds of my front door

I fucking love cycling as a TV sport.there is so much more going on than everyman trying to be first.

There are games between the front runners.the sprinters, teams working to get their sprinters in position.cross team team work to gain an advantage on the peleton.

Plus they are amongst the fittest blokes in sport.150 miles a day for 3 weeks!

I love watching it.. been a TDF fan since the early 90's....

anyway the Eurosport coverage knocks the sports of the ITV4 coverage

I'll sky+ the entire mountains stages and watch it when I get in......

it will be a Froome/Nibali/Contador battle for the win....

Big cycling fan here and it's great to be able to cheer on some Brits. We have a lot to thank Dave Brailsford for. Just hope there are no instances of doping this year.

I'm growing to hate how big the tour is getting, there were preview guides in the shops in May, It's all we'll hear about now until August. It may be the biggest race but even so the imbalance of coverage is ridiculous and not good for the sport.

And plenty of rumours that Wiggins isn;t injured but has had a major falling out with Dave Brailsford. To be honest he's acted like a dick this year, he chose that he wanted to target the Giro and not the Tour and as soon as he started to regret that started talking about the double. And now after pulling out the Giro wants to be tam leader despite having no real form. Froome may be about as British as biltang and be one of the most boring men in sport, but he's stuck to the preparation, clocked the wins and is the rider in form so good luck to him.

Froome's annoying gobshire of a g/f tweeted last month that Froome and Wiggins would never compete together again and I think she's right.

He has said that he's taking a break but there are rumours that he could be tempted to go for the Giro-Tour double.

I think the race will be a very interesting scrap down to the wire between Froome and Contador. And suspect that the strength of SKY's team will edge it in their favour.

When you've won the Giro, then the tour doesn't really matter that much to a team that may be Ukraine in name but are more and more Italian in outlook. The giro is the biggest race in Italy.

I doubt we will ever see a giro tour double ever again. It was almost always impossible and Pantani the only rider to have managed it in 25 was doped to the hilt when he managed it.

It's too big an ask to hold form for both races and impossobile to peak for the giro, recover and peak for the tour and ensure that peak is on a par with every rider that is peaking just for the tour. It's an impossible ask.

I would love to see brummie lad dan martin do a good ride in the tour this year, since his win in a hilly classic in Belgium he has been quitey preparing for july and a top 10 finish would be great!.

The Schlecks are just as dodgy as Contader. Frank should be on a life ban but appears to be made of teflon. Andy will do nothing this year and I doubt ever again
