So the evil affront will not go ahead but Mr Chuadray should be charged with inciting racial violence and hopefully sent home.

Norfolk

I'm all for bringing back some of our old punishments such as

keel hauling

walking the plank (actually that one's a myth)

Hanging drawing and quartering

hanging (for those that haven't been bad enough to have the drawing and quartering added)

but if we are so bad in this country Mr Choudray could always go back to his roots - obviously his homeland is so much better than here after all.

Same could be said of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown don't you think? This man is a disgrace but saying he should be sent home when he's London born is at best ignorant!!

I apologise I wasn't aware he was born in Britain. Change the charge to treason, I think that is still a hanging offence!

Google suggests that offence went in the Criminal Damage Act of 1971.

I had thought there was a remaining capital offence of 'interfering with the daughter of the Monarch' but I may well have made that up.

Give it time. That's why we have laws that can deem any organisation illegal. If it's members continue with their activites, like raising funds for it, then they can be prosecuted and gaoled.

This man spits in the eye of British Law so how long do you think it will take before he spits in the eye of this ban too?

Watch this space.

The Maze hasn't been used for a number of years. Much has been demolished and the listed building are allegedly being turned into some sort of memorial to the years of conflict.

Erm...did I miss something?!! My life won't be long enough to waste on nonesense, but here's hoping. I think this man is a disgrace as I clearly stated in my first post. I merely pointed out the fact he was born in Welling so sending him home was not an option. Now, if the OP had said send him to the bottom of the deep blue sea he would have received a resounding "here, here" from me!!

Don't try to look for arguements where none exist!

Thanks that is exactly what I was saying, thought it was patently obvious but seems I was mistaken!!

Agree with you: I don't understand why someone wants to stay somewhere they obvioussly hate: I'm not aware of any muslim countries that have closed their borders so he's free to leave!

He called it off as he had no intention of carrying out this march. He is an evil, publicity seeking fanatic. How best to incite hate but to say you're going to march in Wooten Bassett?!! Look out for a proposed march to Canterbury Cathedral at Easter!!

As far as i am aware a muslin believes that their land is everywhere their faith is - their land has no borders

so if they are in the UK and are muslims then natural ciitizens or not this is home

we have laws here and they have to be obeyed - there are crimes against inciting racial hatred and causing riots - i think i would have rather have let him go forward with his plans and see him in court - 4 of his followers are there this week for that reason

but i believe in free speech - i believe in people having the right to be able to say what they believe - if you hate us - stand up and be counted - that way we know who you are - otherwise dont we just drive them underground?

the thing i find unbelievable is that this man has a following of around 20 young muslims - he gets way too much air time and does not represent the majority of the muslim faith - most of whom are angered by his words but never get the air time opportunity he does

our media loves poking this man with a stick to feed the headlines - if they left him alone and ignored him he would shrivel up and fade away
