My sex drive has increased as I got older. 20's was all about education and finding the right path and dreaming of what life could be. 30's was mostly all work and no play and settling down with realistic goals and squeezing in the occasional guilty pleasure. Bills came before I could every time. Now in my 40's with most things firmly behind me and a feeling of gratitude that I've made it this far with a much better position to indulge in life's guilty pleasures.

But it has definitely gone down since I started with this perimenopause malarkey 5 years ago or so. Before that it was quite uncomfortable really- feeling horny all the fucking time is not as fun as it sounds. At least not for me!

We're just either side of 50 and both still have a good strong sex drive at the moment. We have both experienced long fallow periods in the past (before we got together). External factors definitely play a much bigger role in how horny we feel than our ages. We have been together 4 years now, we're still head over heels for each other and having more / better sex than ever. Long may it continue 🤞
