We recently happened upon a couple we verified only to find that the fem of the couple was now someone else.

We understand these things happen and couples split but to keep our verification we feel is out of order as we did not meet this couple.

We have asked them to remove our verification and they have and we have done likewise but feel they should have done it without having to be asked.

I guess in the messy days immediately following a split they simply didn't give it any thought. Eventually the verification would have been worthless to whomever was controlling the profile and would probably have been removed anyway in the fullness of time.

I guess the lesson regarding verifications is only verify those you have actually met - but even those relationships can fall by the wayside but at least if you've met them - and played with tme maybe - you can contact them directly to see how they want to proceed.

We did actually meet them on a number of occasions but it seems they have now split and the male half has kept the profile going and is now with another lady who i am sure is very nice but just not our type so to speak.

My concern was that other people may have read it and thought that we met a whole different type of person as the profile of what this couple now wants if very very different to the original 1
