Would just like to hear some point of views on this. What would make a partner ( and i mean a full relationship partner) just suddenly wake up one morning and decide never to speak to you again not answer any kind of contact?

Hmmm... that's a tough one. I've done this and it's self preservation. Cutting him out is the only way to get over it. I'd guess circumstances are different in every situation but I needed to look after me.

Is that wake up in the bed next to their partner and just stop speaking? With no indication beforehand that there was a problem?

If teh above is true I'd say it could be one of a few things, mental illness, something wrong in the relationship that they have been keeping to themselves, they want to leave and don't know how to say it so are trying to get the other person to leave them....its an awful situation to be in because it leaves so many unanswered questions.

Yes I came to the conclusion that I didn't want to see someone any more, rather than leave them not knowing, I drove to theirs and told them, was hard work but I needed to do it for myself

I think you owe it to a partner to at least try and explain - in person.

That said - if you make a discovery about a partners past or current behaviour - which makes you realise they were not at all who you thought they were - and not the person you loved?

Still think you should tell them though.

A situation without closure, leaving you wondering and doubting yourself and your relationship up till that point.

Difficult to deal with, label them a right bastard and move on when ready?
